FABRICATIONSTAR

Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms

These terms apply to every quotation and order between Idas Consulting & Trading Ltd. (Company No. 12499952, VAT 367266272), trading as FabricationStar ("we", "us"), and the customer ("you"). By accepting a quotation, you agree to these terms.

2. Our role

We are a sourcing consultancy, not a manufacturer. We source, coordinate and manage the manufacture of your order through our network of independent production partners in the UK, Türkiye and elsewhere.

3. Minimum order volumes

Our service is built around volume orders — typically container, full truck load, or pallet quantities. Prototypes and samples are made as the first step towards a volume production run. We'll confirm during quoting whether your requirement fits our model.

4. Quotations

Quotations are based on the drawings, specifications and quantities you provide. Unless otherwise stated, a quotation is valid for 7 days from the date issued. Prices, lead times and specifications are confirmed in writing before production begins.

5. Drawings and specifications

You're responsible for the accuracy of any drawings, specifications or information you provide. You retain ownership of your designs; we use them only to prepare your quote and fulfil your order.

6. Payment

Payment terms are agreed and confirmed in your quotation on an order-by-order basis.

7. Cancellations and changes

Orders can be cancelled or changed free of charge before production begins at the partner facility. Once production has started, the order can no longer be cancelled, as partner costs have already been committed.

8. Delivery and risk

We coordinate shipment and delivery to your site. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Delivery dates are estimates agreed in the quotation and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.

9. Title

Ownership (title) of the goods remains with us until we've received payment in full.

10. Quality and inspection

Please inspect your order promptly on delivery. Any defect or discrepancy should be reported to us within 3 business days of delivery so we can resolve it with the relevant partner.

11. Product use and installation

Our responsibility covers the products we supply: that they match the specification agreed in your order and are free from defects in materials and manufacture. We have no control over, and usually no knowledge of, where, how or under what conditions the products will be used, or how they will be installed or assembled. We are therefore not responsible for their suitability for your particular application, or for any loss or damage that results from their use, operating conditions, installation, assembly, maintenance or modification rather than from a defect in the products themselves. It is your responsibility to make sure the products are suitable for their intended use and are installed by competent people in line with the relevant standards and regulations.

12. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profit or business). Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

13. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

14. Confidentiality

We'll keep your drawings and project information confidential, using them only to prepare and fulfil your order.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
