Information we collect
When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect your name, email address, and any phone number, company name, project/quantity details, message, or drawing files you choose to provide.
How we use it and our legal basis
We use this information to prepare and respond to your quote request, to communicate with you about it, and to keep a record of the enquiry. We process this on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining business records.
Marketing emails
If you tick the optional box on our quote form, we'll also use your email address to send you occasional updates or newsletters. This is separate from, and additional to, replying to your quote request — we only send marketing emails if you opt in. We process this on the basis of your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third-party service providers to operate this site: Supabase (database and file storage), Resend (sending our reply/notification emails), and Cloudflare Turnstile (verifying you're not a bot when submitting the form). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Drawing files are automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after we process your request. Your enquiry details (name, contact information, project notes) are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and for our legitimate business record-keeping — or until you ask us to delete them.
Cookies
Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie or use similar technology solely to verify that a form submission is from a real person, not a bot. With your consent, given via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept — you can decline, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site. We don't use marketing or advertising cookies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including private, access-controlled file storage.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version always applies.
