What does FabricationStar do?
We're a metal fabrication sourcing consultancy — your single point of contact for laser cutting, forming, welding, machining, finishing and more, sourced through our vetted network of manufacturing partners across the UK, Türkiye and beyond. Working with us means quality service and quality parts, delivered cost-effectively — it's why our existing customers keep coming back to us.
Do you manufacture the parts yourselves?
No — we don't operate our own factory. We match your requirement to the right manufacturing partner from our network, comparing capability, capacity and pricing to find the most cost-effective fit for your specific job, and stay involved end-to-end from quote through delivery.
What's the minimum order size?
Our model is built around volume orders — typically container-based, full truck load, or pallet-based quantities — rather than one-off or small-batch orders. We do make prototypes, as the first step towards a volume production run. Tell us your volume when you request a quote and we'll confirm whether it's a fit.
Which countries do you source from?
Primarily the UK and Türkiye, alongside other partners across our global network, matched to whichever is the best fit for your specific job on cost, capability and lead time.
What file formats can I submit drawings in?
DXF, STEP, STP, PDF, DWG, SLDPRT or ZIP — up to 20MB per file. If you don't have a formal drawing yet, a clear written description of the part, material and quantity is enough to get started.
Is my information and drawings kept confidential?
Yes. Files you share are used only to prepare your quote and are automatically deleted 30 days after processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How does the quote process work?
Share your requirement → we source the best-fit partner → you approve a clear, itemised quote → production and quality checks → packaging and palletising → tracked shipment to your site. See our How It Works page for the full breakdown.
Do you only handle manufacturing, or design too?
Both — alongside sourcing manufacturing capacity, our engineering partner network also supports CAD, DFM, reverse engineering and technical documentation from concept through to production-ready design.
